CBCSD Early Learning Center

This 38,000-square-foot facility will hold both preschool and childcare programs and is expected to serve a capacity of about 200 children. The Learning Center will have 14 total classrooms and will contain large and small motor skills rooms, as well as offices, work rooms, storage rooms, a multipurpose room and a kitchen.

The hallways and classrooms feature colorful, playful suspended lighting fixtures that would peak interest of the children. Each classroom contains a dimming feature to allow teachers to control their own lighting based on kids’ schedules and nap times. Classrooms with infants and toddlers will contain a heated floor since they are more likely to play on the floor.
